Just a Story

 Nerves started to creep in, it had been too long since we last saw each other. I caught myself chewing on my thumb nail, my front teeth were probably covered by molten metal nail polish chips.  It was half past ten. He was ten minutes late, but I didn't mind because a flimsy straw splattered dots of latte along my cowl necked top. Wow. It's too early for me to be wearing silk, not to mention the red pants. I wondered if he was running late enough for me to have time to jet home and change. Why am I here? There is no one coming. I began to stand up when I hear the unnecessary noise a car of his sort makes. I felt my muscles tense with hope. to be continued
